Tata has first showcased its new gen Sierra and made an outstanding comeback in terms of design and looks. Tata sierra have been the most loved car of Indians from 90s and had that special place for this car, thus the company has touched the echos of the Indians and launched Sierra in all new avatar with a lot of modern touch such as aggressive and sleek design, upmarket exterior looks and top of the class interior with leather upholstery for the top trim.

Phasewise tata has dropped the bombshell when it showcased the model, then it created ruckus amongst Indian car lovers by pricing the Sierra aggressively starting from Rs. 11.49 Lakhs only. Now it has dropped the another bombshell by uploading a video on social sites of the company by claiming a fuel efficiency of 29.9 kmpl on the NATRAX track. It is quite evident from the moves of the Tata that the company is quite confident of their product in terms of every question that an Indian consumer asks whether it be Build quality or safety standards, pricing, fuel efficiency, Features, Looks, Mass appeal and the most important a nostalgic connect. Tata has answered all these question very swiftly and thus the Sierra has received so much love and interest from potential buyer.

Talking about engine which fetched this kind of Fuel efficiency, This is Tata’s Hyperion 1.5 litre engine which took a run of over 12-hours at the NATRAX facility in Indore and claimed 29.9 kmpl and got officially certified on November 30, 2025. It has been tested with an average speed of 65-70 kmph and driven for about 800 kms in over 12 hours.

A same kind of test has been done for a vehicle named Volkswagen Tiguan which is a higher segment car which fetched a mileage of 29.8 kmpl with its 1.0 litre TSI petrol engine.
